Maybe this is an off-topic question - but has there been a device/vendor that has successfully shipped the traditional desktop Linux stack (Wayland/Pipewire/dbus/Qt etc.) on a comparably large scale before? Car infotainment, kiosks, etc. absolutely count.

If not, then the Steam deck is a historic achievement.
